Coaching Golfers Like You: Because I Am One
I help adult golfers increase distance, reduce injury risk, and stay in the game longer using science-backed TPI training.

I’m Dan Weedin — a lifelong golfer, high school golf coach, and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified expert in golf fitness and biomechanics.
I created Back 9 Walking Golf to help adult golfers like me stay strong, swing freely, and play the game we love without pain, stiffness, or decline.
This isn’t about six-packs or speed trainers on Instagram. It’s about real performance for real golfers — using proven methods to increase distance, reduce injury risk, and make sure you enjoy every round, whether you’re chasing pins or walking nine with friends.
You don’t need to swing harder. You need to move better. I’ll show you how.

Services
Built for Your Game. Backed by Science.
Whether you’re chasing more distance, battling stiffness, or just want to feel better playing the game you love, it starts with understanding how your body moves — and how it can move better.
TPI Physical Screen
A comprehensive physical assessment to measure how your mobility, balance, and strength affect your swing.
This isn’t guesswork — it’s a science-backed evaluation designed by the Titleist Performance Institute to uncover what’s holding your game back.
You’ll walk away with clear insights, practical takeaways, and a personalized plan built around your unique swing and body.
Performance Based Coaching
Once we know where the roadblocks are, we go to work.
I’ll coach you through drills, movement patterns, and swing adjustments tailored to your screen results — so you can gain power, stay pain-free, and play better golf longer.
This isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s you-sized. Because that’s how progress happens.
Course Strategy & Mental Game Coaching
Golf isn’t just physical — it’s emotional, strategic, and personal. In this one-on-one coaching session, we tackle the decision-making, mindset, and course management side of your game.
This is the secret sauce most golfers ignore — but it’s often the fastest way to lower scores.
Real Golfers. Real Results
What Golfers Like You Are Saying…
“I was becoming frustrated with my golf swing as stiffness in my back was hampering my follow through. I heard about TPI and went in for an assessment.
Dan took me through all stages of my golf swing and performed an assessment on golf specific muscle groups. Not surprising to find I had many weak and imbalanced areas. Dan assigned 10 targeted exercises to perform each morning to increase my flexibility. It has only been 30 days but I can already feel the improvement!
Highly recommend checking out if you want to improve your golf game!”
- Sue M. – recreational golfer who wants to play without pain
“Dan has been great at helping me improve the mechanics of my swing as I recover from shoulder surgery. Understanding how I can learn to use my specific physicality to improve my swing is a game changer!”
- Allan B. – getting back in the game after surgery
“Through Dan’s instruction and guidance, I was able to improve an often neglected part of my golf game…fitness.
By improving my strength, flexibility, and balance, I was able to improve my distance, consistency, and ultimately my score.
I strongly recommend contacting Dan for improvements in any areas of you or your children’s golf game. You will not find a better golf instructor in the Puget Sound area.”
- Mike D. – avid golfer who wanted to improve distance and score
“After working with Dan for a couple month’s, I was able to play back-to-back days without any pain. Seriously… no pain. I’ve never had a physical training routine have such a dramatic impact on my life. .”
